Project Synopsis:
Gilgandra and Warrumbungle Shire Councils have received $200,000 in funding through the Regional Drought Resilience Planning Program to develop the Castlereagh Country Drought Resilience Plan. Projence’s regional team, with intimate local knowledge and understanding, is working with both councils to write and develop this plan.

- Preliminary desktop review report and initial resilience assessment report of the region
- Stakeholder and Community
- Engagement Plan
Preparation and facilitation of resilience assessment workshops - Finalisation of resilience assessment
Identification of 4-6 drought resilience projects across the economic, social, and environmental pillars; and - Drought Resilience Plan (including booklet and summary resources)
