Muswellbrook Shire Council (MSC) is contracted under the Road Maintenance Council Contract (RMCC) by Transport for NSW (TfNSW) to conduct maintenance in both the Golden Highway (44.6km from Bowmans Crossing Bridge to Halls Creek, Gungal) and Denman Road (21km from Sydney St Intersection through to the Golden Highway Intersection).
